Quiet Books

In the past few days I have had several people ask me about quiet books... Do I have patterns? What ideas do I have? Are they easy? What things do I need to buy? etc.. To be honest it depends on the type of quiet book you want to make, then you can decide if it is hard or easy. Also it depends on how much stuff you want to include in the book. Here are a few websites that have great tutorials, patterns and ideas:

How to Make a Quiet Book
Elisa Loves: How to Make a Quiet Book
Save.Craft.Create.
Serving Pink Lemonade
Too Cute Creations @ YouCanMakeThis.com
You Can Make This.com (many other authors too!)

I have about 50 different pattern pages for a quiet book. Half of them are church related and the other half are not. Some are easy and others take more time. Some supplies you might need and things you want to gather for quiet books:
felt fabric, ribbon string, Velcro, small animals, snaps, buckles, buttons, shoe laces, muslin fabric, scrap fabric, magic markers, tracing paper, paper, sewing machine, scissors, ruler and probably many other things.

So if you are having trouble finding ideas... check out these websites or send me an email: nelsonjeneen(at)gmail(dot)com.
