Summer isn't over but I am always thinking ahead. Fall is around the corner and when you are sewing it takes a little planning. Every week I will be posting sewing projects for birthdays and Christmas gifts that are easy to make for you, your kids and friends. Hopefully this will give you some great ideas for budget "friendly" gifts for the Holiday.
Easy pattern to make for you little girls. Simplicity has started out with different design lines, "It's So Easy" and "Sew Simple" to help the beginner sewer.
Around September I start thinking about sewing gifts for Christmas. Really... I know ya'll are thinking wow that is early but when you sew 50-70% of the gifts it takes awhile. I sew like CRAZY during the fall and don't stop til right before Christmas! I call it my Fall Sewing Extravaganza (By January I have to take a 1-2 month hiatus from sewing).
For the fall the I will not be teaching weekly lessons. Instead I will be starting a "Sewing Night". I am offering a great Fall/Holiday bonus! Each night during the fall I start sewing for about an hour or two after the kids go to bed (8:30ish). This will happen every Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Bring your fabric/project, come and socialize. This is FREE!
