Backpack #1

Here is the first completed Preschool Backpack for one of my twins. I used corduroy for the main part of the fabric with accented "girly" fabric. I didn't want to use cotton for the main fabric because it isn't stiff enough. I could have used a cotton blend but I would have needed a heavy interfacing. Since I didn't have heavy interfacing, corduroy is already a thicker/heavier fabric, there is no need to add interfacing to make the bag stand up.

I also used corduroy cause I wanted it to look like it was bought from the store. If you top stitch the seams right the bag will look amazing!
