I went to school, got married and started working. I realized at that point I had a love for teaching sewing and wanted to continue what my mother did. On my days off, I taught sewing once a week. Teaching girls how to read a pattern, understand the directions and then sticking with them to complete a finished project was awesome!
Then I had my kids 5 kids in 6 years and l had to put teaching on hold. But it didn't stop me from sewing quilts, clothes, baby items and blankets for my kids and friends. During this time of lots of small children, I started a blog to help simply kid's patterns and I analyzed different kid patterns for YouCanMakeThis.Com.
Now all of my children are in school, I am hoping to teach sewing and learn different techniques. I am now making "Ready Made". I have passion for little girl clothes, fleece blankets, small quilts, adult and kid aprons. Eventually, my dream is to teaching sewing again in my home. Sewing is an art that can be mastered. Any and every child can learn no matter how "good" they sew. My saying is, "Lets keep sewing, let's keep sewing".
